Youth Development Program

There are three major projects implemented in East Jerusalem include:
  • Promoting the role of the youth on defending the right to health program: the program aims at building the capacity of the youth on defending the right to health in cooperation with other CBOs in East Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Hebron.
  • Increasing the active participation of the youth program: which has been implemented in cooperation with the European Union, the Union of Palestinian Women Committees, and other Spanish organization. The main objective of the program is to increase the participation of young Palestinians in extracurricular education activities in 6 different locations in East Jerusalem.
  • Kanan project has been implemented by six nongovernmental Palestinian organizations; Defense for Children International-Palestine (DCI-PS), Land Research Center (LRC), Bisan Center for Development, Union of Palestinian Woman Committees (UPWC), the Alternative Information Center (AIC) and Mundubat, in addition to Health Work Committees, the coordinator of the project. The project has a steering committee that meets periodically in order to supervise the action mechanisms, the implementation process, and the evaluation process.
