The killing of our first aid volunteer Sajed Mizher - People's Health Movement Press Release
The whole family of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society is in shock and mourning following the killing of our first aid volunteer Sajed Mizher, from Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, by the Israeli army this morning (27th of March 2019)
Sajed was shot in the abdomen with live ammunition as he was performing his duty, in his first aid uniform, during a raid by Israeli force on the camp; he later succombed to his wounds at the hospital.
PMRS presents its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones and associates itself to their pain.
We call on all our partners to condemn unequivocally this severe violation of international humanitarian law by Israel and to demand the immediate cessation of attacks on medical personnel and other protected persons.
